Rootclaim Privacy Policy
Rootclaim provides a platform for presenting mathematical analysis of complex issues (the “Site”). This privacy policy explains how we make use of data and information received from our end users. If not specifically defined herein, capitalized terms have the meaning given to them in the Rootclaim Terms and Conditions, which is available on our
terms of service page.
We respect the right to privacy of end users. Your ability to make informed choices about the use of your information is important to us. This privacy statement explains our policy regarding the collection, use, disclosure and protection of any information we receive.
Other uses or transfer of your information
Notwithstanding anything to the contrary herein, we may share or otherwise use your personal information to respond to a duly authorized subpoena or court order, to respond to regulatory requests by government authorities, or where it has a good-faith belief that sharing this information is necessary to protect the safety, security, and/or reputation of Rootclaim, its employees, officers, agents, board of directors, investors, and/or its users, including as part of investigations, or in litigation, and, where necessary, to prevent fraud, false advertising, death, imminent bodily harm, or the violation of any law, statute, ordinance, regulation, or treaty, whether local, state, provincial, national, or international.
In providing the services through the Site, we may use subcontractors that are located in states other than your own, and send them information we receive. For example, we may send your information to any states outside the United States or the European Economic Area. All our subcontractors will be subject to non-disclosure and non-use obligations. Nevertheless, some states may have levels of protection of personal and other information which are not as high as in your country of residence or business.
We may disclose data and information as necessary for us to enforce our agreements and policies and to protect the rights and property of Rootclaim or its agents, employees and customers.
We may transfer data and information in connection with a sale of all or part of our business.
Cookies
Rootclaim may use cookies to implement its services on Internet websites or to track users on its own website. A cookie is a small piece of text that is sent to a visitor's browser. The browser provides this piece of text to the device of the originating visitor when this visitor returns. A “persistent” cookie may be used to help save your settings and customizations across visits. Most Web browsers are initially configured to accept cookies, but you can change this setting so your browser either refuses all cookies or informs you when a cookie is being sent. Also, you are free to delete any existing cookies at any time. Please note that some features of the Rootclaim site may not function properly when cookies are disabled or removed.
Do not track
Some web browsers may transmit “do not track” signals to the websites and other online services with which your web browser communicates. There is no standard that governs what, if anything, websites should do if they receive these signals. Rootclaim currently does not respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals or similar mechanisms. If and when a standard is established, we may revise our policy on responding to these signals.
Children
Rootclaim does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13.
Changes
Rootclaim may update this Privacy Policy from time to time - we encourage you to review it periodically.
